HiTS Debuts at BNP Paribas New Energy Summit

Hong Kong – May 19, 2025

On May 19, 2025, the annual BNP Paribas Global New Energy Summit was grandly held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong. The summit brought together over 50 global industry leaders, top experts, and investors, covering diverse topics including energy transition pathways, low-altitude economy, and autonomous driving technologies. As an innovative representative in the hydrogen energy sector, HiTS New Energy was invited to attend the event.

At the summit, Mr. Lin Chuangbin (Ben), CFO & Head of Overseas Operations of HiTS, was invited as a distinguished panelist. He joined EHang CFO Conor Yang and Alef Aeronautics (U.S. flying car company) CEO Jim Dukhovny in discussing the "Low-Altitude Economy" agenda.

Mr. Lin stated that HiTS has established a fully integrated industrial ecosystem through its "Materials-Equipment-Application" tripartite strategy. This encompasses:

  • Upstream core materials: Carbon paper, membrane electrodes
  • Midstream key equipment: Hydrogen fuel stacks, integrated hydrogen production & pressurization units, valves
  • Downstream end products: Hydrogen-powered two-wheelers, sightseeing vehicles, drones, and an intelligent UAV management platform

Meanwhile, its self-developed hydrogen-powered drones demonstrate four key advantages over lithium battery-powered UAVs:

  • Longer endurance
  • Shorter refueling times
  • Greater payload capacity
  • Wider operating temperature range

Compared with lithium battery-powered drone technology, these advantages surprised many on-site investors and new energy industry leaders unfamiliar with hydrogen technology. Numerous investors concurred with our perspective that hydrogen energy will be the key solution for driving sustainable development in the low-altitude economy.

At this summit, HiTS New Energy demonstrated to global enterprises and investors the high-performance capabilities that hydrogen power brings to drones. We showcased how these advanced performance metrics break through the limitations of existing lithium battery-powered drones, unlocking broader application markets. Moving forward, HiTS will continue striving to accelerate the commercialization of hydrogen-powered drones in the industrial UAV sector.
